Search Query

The string of words users input into a search engine to obtain results is known as a search query. These queries consist of raw text, such as “Will it rain today?” When analyzing search queries that direct traffic to your website, you gain insights into which keywords are relevant for search engine optimization (SEO). For example, “rain forecast” might be a more commonly used query in this context.

Example

An example of a search query could be “best Italian restaurants near me.” When a user inputs this into a search engine like Google, they’re seeking information on top-rated Italian dining establishments in their vicinity.
